Pregnancy Massage

A pregnancy massage - also known as a prenatal massage. Pregnancy massage are different types of massages, similar to regular massages but are more concentrated on the well-being of the mother and child. Pregnancy massage is a slow, soothing and calming massage for the various stages of pregnancy. It is generally safe to do after the first trimester as long as you inform your doctor and massage therapist of your pregnancy. They typically last an hour and can be adapted to each individual depending on the mother's needs. The client lies on her side, with pillows, blankets and towels to support and warm her body and bump. Not only is it a highly relaxing treatment, it also helps to alleviate side effects such as backaches and swelling.
